Fundraising Campaign Manager

TESS is seeking to appoint, for the first time, an experienced Fundraising Campaign Manager to work with the Fund Development Board, which is in the process of being set up to implement the next stages of the fundraising strategy developed by TESS with the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI). We are looking for someone who will work with us for the specific purpose of developing a sustainable school in Uganda through innovative and creative methods, developing promotional materials, fundraising activities, writing grant proposals, etc. £380,000 is the initial target, which needs to be raised for building and equipping Phase 2 of Shalom School before the end of 2012. The new Campaign Manager will be tasked with ensuring the sustainability of the charity, making sure funds are available so that the building of Shalom School can continue in line with the planned phases.

Shalom Manager

TESS is seeking to appoint, for the first time, a Manager in the UK (to be known as the UK Shalom Manager) for the development of Shalom International School for Life-Long Learning (ie: Shalom School) for the people of Teso in north eastern Uganda. We are looking for someone to help implement the vision of building a model sustainable school using innovative and creative methods which will facilitate transformation in education and the long-term development of Teso. The UK Shalom Manager will work with the Trustees of TESS, the Shalom Steering Committee, the Fundraising Campaign Manager and the UK Sponsorship Manager as well as with the Director of Shalom and the Shalom Development Committee in Uganda.
