How to help
£275 a year allows a student to attend post-primary education. You will get letters and reports from your student and be able to send letters to them.
We ask for you to treat this as a long-term commitment to see that student through education (7-10 years).
Co-sponsor a child: -
£275 a year for a student who has already completed their O-levels. You will get letters and reports from your student and be able to send letters to them.
This is a shorter commitment to see a student through education (4-5 years).
New students taking their bedding to school.
If you would like to sponsor a child but don’t want a long commitment please contact Helen Jordan as we always have students needing co-sponsors with only 1-2 years left in education.
Donate to TESS: -
This can be a general donation or specific for medical care, textbooks, administration costs for running TESS or for the ‘hardship fund’ which students in specific need can apply for and get grants and loans to start small businesses.
Volunteer with us: -
We have opportunities for volunteers in the UK and Teso
You could be training students in microfinance initiatives, working with teachers on creative teaching methods, using your medical skills at our residential retreat or helping in the Uganda offices.
Contact Helen Jordan and she will tailor your volunteer experience to your specific skills and budget.
